Carnivore spirit Annelise Michelson

I found the person who designed the first ear jewels and her name is AnneLise Michelson! Since then she innovated again and found a trick to hang an earring from the cartilage without going through all the pain. She’s creative and her universe is inspiring. Each one of her creations is the perfect mix of punk and elegant. The perfect balance to not wind up looking like you’re wearing a costume when you accessorize in front of the mirror in the morning. What is your favorite piece in your e-shop? The drop rings you can mix in all three colors: gold, silver, and gunmetal. You can wear [...]

Enough with stereotypes… Mika in Women’s Valentino.

On The Voice Saturday night I recognized right away the print from Valentino’s pre-fall women’s collection worn by Mika. Mika in Women’s Valentino! Behind this daring choice is probably Mika’s mom, his stylist. It’s an authentic choice that is a far cry from the stereotype of a dandy styled with shiny shoes and a three piece suit that is too tight. And regardless of the print, Mika’s look is effortlessly elegant. “It’s a little bit as if Mick Jagger met Michalangelo Antonioni in La Notte”, said Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo [...]

The Roosevelt hotel Sleeping with Mick Jagger !

The Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard is one of the most famous hotels in Los Angeles but it also happens to have the reputation of being one of the most haunted places in the world. It’s probably why I preferred the Château Marmont. On my last trip I told myself it was time for me to change it up and be a little Rock ‘n’ roll for a night. I reserved a suite and found myself in a pretty small room. I appreciated the invitation to sleep with Mick Jagger but I asked to change. I was offered another room on the poolside. The ambiance was overexcited, very “Hollywood”, and too [...]

The Eiffel Tower is the best « cliché » of Paris... But also The Eiffel Tower is 125 years old.

The Eiffel Tower is the most beautiful « cliché » of Paris ! But also the biggest. A «cliché»  that is never outdated, everybody shoot her and we all want to be on the picture with her. It comes in feminine, despite her phallic look. Happy Birthday and long life to you under the sky of Paris. Ps: Thank you so much Carlos for coming at 7 o’clock this morning to give me your paint brush and your dirty paint bucket…

Jewelry and women. The most beautiful pieces of jewelry are the ones that never leave us!

Marilyn Monroe said “diamonds were a girl’s best friend”. A best friend, we don’t leave him, so if Marilyn thought diamonds were a girl’s best friend, she must have referred to the diamonds she wore and which never left her because jewelry in a safe could absolutely not be a best friend we take out only on special occasions. I am a big collector of necklaces. I also have transparent Muji boxes full of earrings, bracelets and I also very much like pearls. Jewelry and trinkets are put away beautifully in boxes but the ones I find most beautiful never leave me. [...]

something that reveals my personality? Caline’s love affair with Carven

Caline and Carven, it’s an epic love story. She fell in love with Guillaume Henry after his first advertising campaign with the Parisienne, her little black dress and her scooter in St-Germain…She even has ideas for the brand for which she got amazing grades at Marangoni. Caline is the type of girl that Guillaume Henry enhances with his designs. She doesn’t need frou-frou to assert her personality. She has so much personality that she can keep a low profile. When I told her we were interviewing Géraldine Nakache, she started singing « Et si je sais que tu mènes la vie que tu [...]
