The Haute Couture exposition at Hotel de Ville continues and it’s hot: ballpoint pen sketches by Madame Grès, Paul Poiret and Carven from the 1920’s and 1950’s. The hands of Elsa Schiaparelli hiding her profile, and Coco Chanel’s with a needle in one and a cigarette in the other. Insane accessories (like Schiaparelli’s torn gloves). And haute couture dresses to die for, whether they are from yesterday, like those by Carven, or today, like the outfit made entirely of crystal by the label Martin Margiela.
