When I met the oh so sophisticated but still super fresh Alexandra Pecorelli, I immediately started humming the chorus of Brassens: “Quand je pense a Fernande, je bande, je bande, quand je pense a Félicie je bande aussi…” The rest? She was shocked, but since she is well educated she smiled and told me that I was funny and that it was very Parisian of me to talk so freely abut sexuality. Alexandra’s is Italy’s definition of elegance, sophistication and lightness. It’s in a Tuscan village, the heart of Florentine art and Mediterranean culture that she tied the knot with her Italian love.
Her dress is inspired by a coral dress from the SS16 collection and was revisited with the Gucci team in order to find the right tone of white. In her feet she chose to wear platform heels that were also seen on the runway and were a huge commercial success, and surprise surprise, they were super sophisticated and green !
The bride is called Alexandra Pecorelli, she is 35 years old and is Marketing and PR Director for Pal Zileri.
The dress : Gucci, made to order by Alessandro Michele
The location : Fattoria di Cinciano, in Tuscany, 30km from Sienne.
The invitees : 110
The date : July 2nd 2016
Her advice : Be coherent with an idea, have a vision of an ideal situation, dream about it, be authentic, don’t sway and be simple.
The little plus : the day before, a cocktail dinner that was “home made” with mama’s tarts and cocktails prepared by the brother in law. The point? To create an informal setting so each person feels like a special part of the family. Those who don’t know each other can mingle, this way the day of the wedding people will be more comfortable and the setting homier.
